Canadian CEF 140th Infantry Battalion sweetheart brooch collar

A scarce original First World War period Canadian Expeditionary Force 'CEF 140th Infantry Overseas Battalion gilt sweetheart brooch' converted from a collar badge; crowned maple wreath design, the centre with shield and 'Pro Impera' motto. Very good condition, complete with pin fittings, gilt finish remains bright. Height 34mm.
