WW2 German Sand Camouflaged MG Tin

Aluminium MG tin for belted rounds of 7.92mm having left the factory in ordnance grey then been overpainted in sand camouflage with red anti oxide visible underneath. A heavily combat used item that has had a busy past with the sand colour having been once thickly applied over the grey. Both top handle & side brackets still have their leather tabs intact , sand paint to leather on each side. Top of lid has a logo marking 'HDK' with eagle & swastika waffenamt inspection marking next to it.
