WW2 German M40 Single Decal Reissue Army Helmet

An M40 combat helmet that has had the application of two gold toned army decals one on top of the other. Examining the helmets exterior paint finish there are two coats immediately apparent the first being in a grey green with a later applied dark green over the top. Both decals are still evident & having been applied at differing stages of its war service. All three liner pins in matching paint & totally undisturbed . Underside of rim has also had a dark green overpaint with very faint 'ET64' just about visible. Leather liner intact & with original tightening cord intact. Chinstrap has aluminium buckle & maker stamp to end with date only partially discernible.
