WW2 German Saddle Bag 1938

As is well known the German Wehrmacht of WW2 used a large number of horses especially being seen in occupied France with horse drawn wagons etc well photographed. This saddle bag is an example of such related equipment & can be worn on the back if required. In brown leather with rear back straps intact it is clearly dated 1938 with waffenamt eagle & swastika marking & manufacturer name. Some stiffness to the leather in places with one of the sprung loaded buckles having lost its 'spring' . Ideal piece for German troops in Normandy display.
