WW2 German ZF41 Scope Carrying Case

German green painted steel carrying case for the ZF41 sharpshooter scope. To rear is webbing belt loop & to side of tin spring loaded fastening catch with web pull tab. Tin has three letter maker code 'jvb' with eagle & swastika waffenamt marking. The weapon number '4547' can be seen to exterior of lid. Interior still has housing for scope with horsehair padding & wood insert. Tin shows heavy use with loss of paint in places.
