Description
Original era manufacture. An interesting example of the standard M1917 US Bolo Knife, made by Plumb. It displays hard use in it's lifetime, with wear to the blade surface, but no corrosion issues. Steel patina finish guard and pommel, with original, rough hewn, walnut grips, which were made for the M1910 Bolo, with cut-outs for the scabbard lock mechanism. Standard canvas covered, wood bodied scabbard which has had it's 1910 belt hook removed, and replaced with a laced-on leather rectangle cut to fit a waist belt.
