Japanese WWII Civil Defense/Factory Helmet, Kanji Marked Liner

Original period manufacture. Stamped steel helmet with most of the original olive brown paint finish remaining intact. Overall a very solid example. Thin pigskin leather liner, numerous black painted kanji all around it. Thin, woven paper crown lining. Very elaborate stamped alloy helmet insignia on the front, thin cotton cloth military style chinstrap.
