Description

Original era manufacture. Feldgrau doeskin wool bodied coat with a dark green wool collar and cuffs. The collar and cuff litzen are all machine sewn, the hand embroidered coat eagle is hand sewn to the coat body, no evidence of the inner shoulder seam being opened to swap out the shoulder straps. Elaborate Beamte pattern shoulder straps in the rank equivalent to a Hauptman. Eight, bright aluminum button front, with two buttons on the cuffs, and six on the tail of the coat. Full body and sleeve lining, with two interior chest pockets, two pockets in the tail and a small closure belt in the front. Loops for a medal bar and badge on the left front. Size about a 40 regular. Overall the coat is bright and clean, no moth holes, but there are spots of abrasion-like nap wear from moths. These can be seen on the rear of the left arm, and on the left front of the coat. In addition there is a 2x2 mm hole on the back of the left arm. A beautiful quality officers coat.
