Description

A rare Edwardian and very unusual 'Royal Scots Greys hollow silver Cavalry sweetheart brooch, in the form of a crowned circle with motto 'Nemo Me Impune Lacessit' with title scroll above 'Royal Scots Greys' and ribbon scroll below 'Second To None'; the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1906, maker's details 'F.N' (Frederick Narborough, Birmingham) and mounted on a finely made hunting crop. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no dents or distortion, an excellent example. Width 41mm. Height 27mm.
