Original era manufacture. An 1881 pattern cork helmet covered in white wool panels with a green paper covering to the underside of the visors, with white leather binding to the edges. The deluxe grade metal fittings have a quality mercury gilt finish, with the eagle plate made in two sections. Minimal moth issues to the wool covering, the helmet has been pressed into an oval shape from improper storage. The cork has not been crushed or broken, at the top remnants of the cavalry yellow Yak hair plume remains.
