A scarce Edwardian period 'Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders sweetheart brooch'; hollow silver horseshoe, the reverse bearing London silver hallmarks for 1905 and maker's details 'G C'. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings. Height 34mm.
