US WWI Era, London Mfg, Cased Major's Dress Shoulder Straps

Original era manufacture. A beautiful pair of Artillery officers shoulder straps in the rank of Major. Named on the lid of the fitted case to Major Turner U.S. Army. Red velvet centers with thick wire embroidery, now displaying a dark silver patina, including the once-gold wire oakleaves. The reverse of each of the straps bears the name of the London retailer; E.Stillwell & Son, 25 Barbican London.
