Westmorland & Cumberland Yeomanry 1916 silver sword sweetheart brooch

A very rare First World War period 'Westmorland & Cumberland Yeomanry sweetheart brooch'; heavy gold fronted badge mounted on a 1912 Officer's pattern style sword, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1916 and maker's details 'A. Bros' (Ahronsberb Brothers). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings and all of the gold plating to the front of the badge. Width 52mm.
