Description

A scarce original circa 1872 to 1913 period 'Amalgamated Society Of Railway Servants medal' issued by George Tutills, London in the form of a large unmarked silver coloured faceted star, with an applied 'Stirling Single Engine in pressed gilt alloy and suspended from a red and yellow striped silk ribbon with gilt blue enamel suspension bar bearing the unions 'ASRS' initials and crossed signalling flags. Very good condition, complete with original silk ribbon with pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel. An excellent example. Height approx 83mm.
