WW2 Church Army Fellowship of War Workers officially numbered home front badge

A good original Second World War period 'Fellowship of War Workers pin badge'; shield shaped gilt example bearing white enamel title surround, the centre inscribed 'CHURCH ARMY' over the sign of the Cross, on red enamel ground, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham' and official issue number '940'. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height approx 26mm. The Church Army during the second world war provided for the forces over 300 mobile canteens, as well as libraries and entertainment coaches, this badge was worn by members on their uniforms, overalls and civilian clothes by voluntary helpers.
