M.V. Swift Windermere Cruise Fleet ships wheel badge by H.W.MILLER LTD

A good original circa 1934 - 1956 period 'Motor Vessel The Swift pin badge', nickel plated gilt blue enamel wheel bearing an enamal portrayal of the pre-1956 steamer ship across the centre; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.MILLER LTD BRANSTON ST B'HAM 18' and 'REGD 796012' (a registration, design and patent number for the year 1934).Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or loss of enamel, minor wear to nickel plating. Height approx 28mm. M.V. Swift was built in 1900 and was converted from a steam vessel to diesel in 1956.
