WW2 Stretcher Bearer Emergency Hospital Scheme badge H.W.Miller

A scarce original wartime issue 'Emergency Hospital Scheme Stretcher Bearer lapel badge'; white metal example displaying Crowned 'SB' initials with red enamel title scroll below, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.M'. (H.W.Miller). Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel. Height approx 32mm. Authorised in 1940 worn by the ARP Ambulance crew during the Second World War.
