General Post Office Doorkeeper GPO Cap Badge c.1956

A scarce original circa 1956 'General Post Office Doorkeeper's cap badge; squared oval gilt brass example, bearing orange translucent enamel border and dark blue centre inscribed 'GPO'. Very good condition, no damage to the enamel, complete with original two loop fittings and split pin. Height 26mm. Width 38mm.
