For Home and Country WI badge together with a PRESIDENT title bar

A good original circa 1940's 'National Federation of Women's Institutes two piece badge'; gilt brass oval example, the fretted centre bearing the 'WI' monogram, flanked by a red enamel rose and Canadian maple leaf, with motto 'For Home and Country' inlaid in green; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.O.Lewis (Badges) Ltd B'Ham' together with a scarce PRESIDENT matching green enamel title. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact. Width 36mm.
