A rare original First World War period colourful patriotic pin brooch, in the form of sailor standing between a Union Jack and a French Flag; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1914 and maker's details 'C & N' (Crisford & Norris Ltd Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no serious defects to the enamel. Height 30mm.
