Richard Hodgkin was born in Christchurch, Burton On Trent around 1876.He enlisted in The Derbyshire Regiment on 10Th July 1894,being discharged in 1906.Here-enlisted in The Notts and Derby Regiment on 20/06/1916, trade given as Watchman.
