Queens South Africa Medal (3rd issue) clasps: CAPE COLONY/TRANSVAAL/SOUTH AFRICA 1902 Named to: 4709 CORPL: R.HODGKIN NOTTS & DERBY:REGT. British War and Victory Medals, named to: 53098 SJT.R.HODGKIN.NOTTS & DERBY R. Medals about good very fine with a little contact wear, It is noted that the ribbon pin/bar on the Q.S.A. has been replaced. Richard Hodgkin was born in Christchurch, Burton On Trent around 1876.He enlisted in The Derbyshire Regiment on 10Th July 1894,being discharged in 1906.Here-enlisted in The Notts and Derby Regiment on 20/06/1916, trade given as Watchman. He was discharged 06/09/1918, and entitled to Discharge badge no: B15555 (wounds) Both sets of papers available on-line. Medals and clasps confirmed on papers and Medal Rolls
