A scarce original circa 1950's 'Robertson's Golly Cricketer badge' wearing bright blue coat, white waistcoat, voided between legs and displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'RICHARD GOMM FORD STREET B'HAM 18'. Very good condition, complete with original coiled pin fittings, no stress mark or damage to the enamel, black speck overspill to eyes, gilt finish remains bright, mounted on its original display card bearing advertising slogan 'EAT & ENJOY Golden Shred Marmalade. Height approx 37mm.
