A scarce original circa 1920's period 'Royal Berkshire Hospital school of nursing pin badge', the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1922, maker's details 'B&S' (Bracher & Sydenham Reading) and inscribed 'IDA MARY HAWKINS 1922 - 1926', together with her 'General Nursing Council State Registered Nurse silver badge', the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1926 maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Hockley St. Birmingham' and inscribed 'I.M.HAWKINS 'S.R.N. 43253 16. 7.26' 'REGd. No.700947'. Both in very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
