WW1 British Red Cross Motor Ambulance Drivers Badge

A rare original First World War period well designed good quality British Red Cross motor ambulance drivers die cast gilt badge' in the form of a heavy duty voided spoked wheel, the blue rimmed hub bearing a central translucent enamel red cross on white enamel ground, with large protruding wings bearing blue enamel title 'BRC'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, an excellent example. Height 33mm.
