Robertsons pre-war 1928 Jolly Golly Golfer promotional badge

A rare original circa 1928 period 'Robertson's Jolly Golly Golfer pin badge'; no line between lips, yellow waistcoat with pockets, creases on upper sleeve and displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Miller 18 Branston St B'Ham REG 729136' a Registration, Design and Patent for the year 1927, complete with original coiled pin fittings and rounded catch, heavy enamel loss to both legs, left foot, coat tail and head, gilt finish remains bright. Price reflects with all those faults. Height approx 34mm.
