A scarce original 'Great War Peace Victory Celebration 1919 alloy medal'; the obverse with embossed oval depicting King George V and Queen Mary, peace dove with inscription 'THE GREAT WAR 1914 -19 PEACE ENDURING VICTORIOUS scrolls below; the reverse depicting the Winged Goddess of Victory Sun and Ship in the background over tablet 'TO COMMEMORATE THE ENDING OF THE GREAT WAR 1919'. Very good condition, complete with original patriotic red, white and blue cotton ribbon and ring fittings. Diameter 32mm.
