WW2 Womens Land Army WLA hat and uniform badge variant

A scarce ORIGINAL unusual Second World War period 'Womens Land Army gilt brass die-stamped pin badge'; superior quality example, the centre with well defined wheatsheaf on green enamel ground, red enamel to the Crown. Very good condition, complete with original horizontal tube pin fittings with flat crimped catch, no damage to the enamel. Height approx 37mm. Worn on the felt hat and also on the uniform green jumper, discontinued after 1942 due to the metal shortage.
