Brighton Borough Police Night Helmet Plate Badge 1953 - 1967

A scarce original1953 to 1967 ERII period 'Brighton Borough Police night helmet plate badge', chromium plated blackened example bearing the coat of arms of Brighton two dolphins and six martlets to the centre. Very good condition, complete with three loop fittings and split pins. Height approx 113mm. Brighton Borough Police was abolished on 1 January 1968, under the Police Act 1964, when its officers became part of newly formed Sussex Constabulary.
