Conservative & Unionist political party membership pin badge

A scarce original circa 1940's large pattern 'Conservative & Unionist badge' in the form of a gilt title strap inlaid with dark blue enamel and inscribed 'Onward' the centre depicting in relief the united emblems of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, a Rose, Thistle, Daffodil and Shamrock. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no flaws to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. an excellent example. Height 30mm.
