British Automobile Racing Club BARC 1953 hallmarked silver cufflinks

A very scarce original 1953 superb quality 'British Automobile Racing Club BARC silver and enamel dress cufflinks', each depicting the clubs red stylized iion badge on a light blue shield surmounted by a chequered bar; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1953 and maker's details 'W&H' (Walker & Hall). Very good condition, complete with strong connecting chain, no damage to the enamel, minimal surface scratches. Height approx 16mm.
