WW2 National Service Daily Sketch War Fund Patriotic Badge

A good original circa 1941 wartime newspaper fundraiser's chromium plated home front badge, fashioned in the form of a rank star pip, white enamel title circlet 'National Service Daily Sketch War Fund' with stylized lion to centre, on blue enamel ground; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height approx 29mm.
