WW1 Speed Up Ships and Aeroplanes womens munitions worker badge

A scarce original First World War period 'Speed Up Ships & Aeroplanes womens munition gilt badge' in the form of a large triangle, inlaid with patriotic red, white and blue enamel with winged bullet to the voided centre, the reverse impressed in relief 'Did Her Bit on Munitions Great War 1914 - 1918' and with 'Rd.662629' a registered, design and patent date of 1918. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings (pin a later replacement, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, an excellent example. Height 32mm.
