WW1 Speed Up Munitions and Guns lady war worker pin badge

A scarce original First World War period 'Speed Up Munitions and Guns women's war workers triangular gilt badge' patriotic red, white and blue enamel title surround with winged bullet to voided centre, the reverse impressed in relief 'DID HER BIT ON MUNITIONS GREAT WAR 1914 -1918' and with 'Rd.662629' a registered, design and patent date of 1918. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example. Height 31mm.
