Womens Land Army WLA Six Year Service Armband

A scarce original circa 1945 late war period 'Womens Land Army 6 year service armband'; full length yellow felt armlet with green overlay to the centre bearing yellow embroidered crowned 'WLA' to centre. Good condition, with original button fasteners, some old moth holes right side to yellow felt. The WLA had originally been set up in 1917 but disbanded at the end of the First World War. It reformed in June 1939.
