A scarce original Women's Voluntary Service South West Bristol staff badge'; maroon silk embroidered 'REGION 7' on grey felt cloth backing. Very good condition, removed from uniform. Width approx 81mm. Introduced in 1943 for staff working in the Civil Defence regional headquarters.
