Robertsons Golly footballer yellow waistcoat badge pre war MELSOM

A very scarce original pre war 'Robertson's Footballer Golly badge' bearing metal hands and feet, wearing a yellow V-neck waistcoat displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred' and kicking a dark blue and white ball, the reverse stamped in relief with maker's details 'Melsom Products Ltd B'Ham'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, very minor stress marks to enamel knees, manufacturers flaw to jacket left, enamel run right hand. Height approx 34mm.
