A rare original turn of the 20th century votes for women supporters 'National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies gilt and enamel badge' portrayed in the 'NUWSS' colours of green, white and red; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.O.Lewis Howard St. Birmm'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact, gilt finish remains bright. Diameter 22mm. 'National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies' NUWSS Suffragists colours were green, white and red. 'Women's Social and Political Union' WSPU Suffragettes were green, white and purple.
