Castleknock College Union 1835 Centenary 1935 Silver Committee Badge Dublin, Ireland

A very scarce original circa 1935 period Irish 'Castleknock College Union silver and blue enamel pin badge', the centre depicting the 'Coat of Arms' with motto 'Nos Autem in Nomine Domini' (We however, put our trust in the Name of the Lord) within 'COMMITTEE' and 'C.C.U.' scrolls; the reverse impressed with Dublin silver hallmarks for 1934 and maker's details 'L.A.W' (West & Son Grafton Street, Dublin), previously (William Law & Son). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no defects to the enamel, an excellent example. Height approx 35mm.
