Alvis Car Company Logo Promotional Lapel Badge

A scarce original circa 1920's period 'Alvis Car Company salesman promotional badge' in the form of an inverted triangle inlaid with red enamel and bearing the very distinct company logo; the reverse impressed with early maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Hockley St Birmingham' and 'Reg 632818' a registration design and patent year for 1914. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, enamel intact, original sliver plated finish now worn back to the brass. Height approx 20mm.
