A scarce original early post 1953 period 'Queen Alexandra's Royal Naval Nursing Service hat badge'; Queen Alexandra cypher of red embroidered crossed initials 'A' and intertwined around a gold wire anchor surmounted by a EIIR Crown, the reverse with black hessian cotton backing. Very good condition, bullion remains bright, complete with original red and navy silk hat band now detached from badge Height approx 54mm.
