Cheshire Constabulary Special Constable police reserve badge

A scarce original circa early 20th century 'Special Constable police pin badge'; large gilt blue enamel title strap 'Cheshire Constabulary' surmounted by an ornate Ducal Coronet; the solid centre bearing an embossed white Prince of Wales plumes resting on red enamel 'Special Constable' scroll; the reverse impressed with early maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Bolton'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Height 39mm.
