Alan Cobham aviator De Havilland Moth blue monoplane badge c1930

A scarce original circa 1930's 'Cobham's Flying Circus souvenir pin badge'; gilt brass aeroplane bearing 'Cobham' title inlaid with scarce dark blue enamel across the wing, the reverse with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St B'Ham.18' and 'Regd 755555' a design and patent date of 1930. Good condition, retaining original hook catch and replacement coiled pin fitting, minor enamel loss to 'H' letter, gilt finish remains bright. Length 26mm. Wingspan 27mm.
