Description

A good original Second World War period silver ID Bracelet inscribed 'Surg. Lieut. Richard M. Phillips R.N. C. of E.' the reverse impressed 'SILVER' 'Anne to Dick 21: 5: 44.' Good condition, the curb chain has one side detached from clasp, easily remedied with a ring. Surgeon Lieutenant Richard Morgan Phillips RN qualified at St Thomas' Hospital Medical School in 1938 and served with the Royal navy from 1944 to 1949. After leaving the RN he continued in medical practice and died in 2001.
