Bolton & District Royal Infirmary 1947 Hm silver nurses hospital badge

A scarce original 'Bolton & District Royal Infirmary V.B T.S nurses qualification pin badge', bearing the Bolton County Borough Coat of Arms enhanced with enamel decoration and with motto 'SUPERA MORAS' (Overcome Delays); the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1947 maker's details 'T.A.B & Co' (T A Butler & Co Vittoria Street, Birmingham) and inscribed 'Miss A. Brownlow'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height 30mm.
