A rare original First World War period 'Goole Rifle Club Volunteer Training Corps gilt lapel badge'; Crowned white enamel oval title surround, the centre displaying a Union Jack Flag and superimposed over crossed rifles; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Bolton' and registered, design and patent number 'REG.638232' for the year 1914. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel. Height 32mm.
