A scarce original fine quality 'Queens Institute of District Nursing badge', the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1960 and maker's details 'JRG&S' (J.R.Gaunt & Sons) and impressed with the number '233'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings with safety roller catch in good working order, mounted with ring fitting to the top. Height with ring 51mm.
