WW1 Prisoner of War Help officially numbered badge

A scarce original First World War period 'Prisoner of War Help badge'; circular gilt brass example, the centre displaying embossed blue enamel intertwined initials 'PW' within a white title surround; the reverse Impressed with official issue number '1233' and early maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Bolton'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Diameter 26mm.
