A scarce original post war circa 1950's period 'Robertson's Golly footballer promotional badge' playing a orange football, this example with pop eyes, bright blue coat, metal hands and feet, white waistcoat bearing the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred', the reverse impressed with maker's details in relief 'R.E.V. Gomm Frederick St B'Ham1'. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.Height 36mm.
