A scarce original First World War period '1914 Hertfordshire Special Constable Police lapel badge;' bronzed Crowned title circlet with embossed Hart crossing a stream to centre, the reverse with unusual maker's details 'P.H.Manison B'Ham'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, good bronzed patina. Height 42mm.
