Robertson Golly standard white waistcoat advertising badge OLYMPIC BADGES

A rare original circa 1950's 'Robertson's Standard Golly badge'; gilt brass example wearing a light blue coat, angular bow tie with white waistcoat displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Olympic Badges BED.2183'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example.Height 33mm.
